Each hotel offers its own atmosphere and experience, allowing guests to choose the setting that best suits their stay. From the generous spaces and wellness facilities of a lakeside resort to the privacy and contemporary character of an intimate boutique hotel, the two properties complement one another while sharing the same commitment to attentive service, refined gastronomy and the beauty of Lake Lugano.
Surrounded by mountains and Mediterranean landscapes, both hotels offer a privileged setting for leisure stays, business occasions, private celebrations and events by the lake.
Swiss Diamond Hotel Lake Lugano
Set directly on the waterfront near the picturesque village of Morcote, Swiss Diamond Hotel Lake Lugano is a five-star resort offering space, comfort and a wide range of experiences in a peaceful lakeside setting.
Following an extensive renovation, the hotel features 87 elegant rooms and suites, many overlooking the lake, together with landscaped gardens and panoramic terraces. Its 600-square-metre spa and wellness area, indoor heated pool and outdoor swimming pool create a destination dedicated to relaxation and wellbeing.
Dining follows the rhythm of the seasons. During the warmer months, Ristorante Lago welcomes guests in an elegant lakeside setting, with Mediterranean flavours and open views over the water. In winter, Ristorante Panorama takes centre stage, offering a more intimate dining experience framed by sweeping views of Lake Lugano. Guests can also enjoy relaxed moments at Bar Orient and Bar Lago.
The hotel’s generous indoor and outdoor spaces also provide an elegant setting for corporate gatherings, private events and special celebrations.
Swiss Diamond Boutique Hotel La Romantica

With just 26 rooms and suites, all featuring private terraces and views towards the surrounding landscape or Lake Lugano, the hotel combines privacy, refined design and highly personalised service.
At Ristorante Le Rive, guests can enjoy refined cuisine directly by the water, with its lakefront terrace creating one of the hotel’s most atmospheric settings. Velvet Bar offers a sophisticated space for an aperitif, a quiet drink or an evening overlooking the lake.
The hotel also features an intimate spa and wellness area with sauna, hammam, salt room, jacuzzi, relaxation spaces and fitness facilities, as well as a Private Spa experience.
Beyond leisure stays, La Romantica offers versatile spaces for meetings, conferences, corporate dinners, gala evenings and private celebrations, combining contemporary interiors, natural light, lake views and access to outdoor areas in an elegant waterfront setting.
